  42. description: The Haider Lab aims to map the topography of attentional flow throughout
  43. the visual system at cellular and circuit resolution. To achieve this, we measured
  44. effects of spatial attention resolved retinotopically across multiple, precisely
  45. targeted stages of the visual processing hierarchy. We first performed retinotopically
  46. targeted Neuropixels recordings with single probes in primary visual cortex (V1)
  47. or multiple optically targeted higher visual areas (HVAs) while head-fixed, stationary
  48. mice performed a psychometric visual spatial task that elicits behavioral and neural
  49. signatures of spatial attention. We then measured trial-by-trial attentional modulation
  50. with Neuropixels recordings simultaneously across pairs of network nodes.
