  29. the multiunit or single unit response of that site is summarized as a set of peristimulus
  30. time histograms (PSTH). Each PSTH is derived from the site’s response to repeated,
  31. temporally randomized, presentations of the same image. Thus, the number of PSTHs
  32. is identical to the number of images in the test set (typically 100-2000 images).
  33. The number of repetitions of each image is indicated in the file and the data from
  34. individual repetitions are available in the file. For larger image sets these recordings
  35. were made over a series of consecutive days (usually <5 days). Quality control measures
  36. (e.g. consistency of response pattern over images) collected on each day are used
  37. to check for site stability across those days before producing the final PSTH estimates
  38. for each site. Stimulus Sets: The corresponding visual images used in these recordings
  39. are linked or stored in the "Stimulus_Template" section of each NWB file.
  40. Note that this is one of many such NWB project files with this same text descriptor
  41. (above). Each project file differs primarily in terms of what images were tested.
  42. While some neural sites are likely the same across these NWB files, combing in that
  43. way should only be done with additional quality control measures.'
